Will Ferrell On A Possible 'Anchorman 2'

Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell has revealed to EW that his desire to bring us a sequel to the must loved 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy is stronger than ever but that his hands are tied by Paramount.

“It's a little peculiar,” he tells Entertainment Weekly. “On the one hand, [we were] being begged to do a sequel for such a long time, and then we finally came up with a concept that we liked, we talked to [Paramount] and everyone was up for it.

And then to get the reaction we got, yeah, it's slightly puzzling to us. But you know what? It's also their money. They get to do or not do whatever they want. So we'll see.

Ferrell concluded by saying "We're still going back and forth. Maybe there is a solution. Or, I know in talking to Adam [McKay], if it never happens, then it never happens. And that's fine too. So we'll just see.

It sounds as if it is all about the money on this one. But lets imagine that wasn't an issue. Who would be excited to see an Anchorman sequel? I know I would. Or should they leave it at just the one film? Let me know below.

He seems to be hung up on the idea of a sequel. Let it go and focus on other projects. I don't really like the first one anyway.

I did like the first but I can't imagine a sequel being too good.
