Lucasfilm Announce Release Of 'Star Wars' Blu-Ray Boxset!


The day that Star Wars fanatics everywhere have been waiting for has arrived. The release of the full Star Wars Blu-ray Boxset has been given a date by Lucasfilm and will be brought to us on 9 discs complete with 40 hours of special features! All 6 films have been digitally remastered, although the first three are not the original trilogy but the one Lucas played with before The Phantom Menace was released.

That all important date to put in your diary? 12th September 2011. Not long away either!

The special features are extensive and the full list is as follows:
