Captain America has managed to knock Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 off the top spot in this weekend's US box office. The film proved to be yet another Marvel success story, taking a rather unimpressive $65.8 million. The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 made an impressive haul in its second weekend with $48 million, taking the film's US total above $274 million.
Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake's new comedy Friends With Benefits found itself in third place with a total of $18.5 million. The third installment of the Transformers franchise, Dark Of The Moon, came fourth with $12 million and Horrible Bosses, which has just been released in the UK, came fifth with $11.7 million.
Zookeeper finished in sixth with $8.7 million (rather more than I thought it would achieve) and Cars 2 came seventh with a $5.7 million haul.
The top ten was rounded off with Winnie The Pooh ($5.1m) in eighth, Bad Teacher ($2.6m) in ninth and Midnight In Paris continuing its trends of tenth place with $1.8 million, making the film Woody Allen's most profitable film to date.
What did you guys see this weekend? Anything you would recommend?

Director Sam Raimi has already added many big names to the cast including aforementioned James Franco, with Mila Kunis set to join along with Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz who is to take the role as the evil queen. Although filming is set to start in Michigan this summer, the film may not see release until 2013. With the director of the Spiderman films Sam Raimi at the helm, who also produced the new hit TV series Spartacus:

MacFarlane showed obvious excitement when he said: “The very first cartoon character I drew at age two was Fred Flintstone. So it’s appropriate that events have come full circle, allowing me to produce the newest incarnation of this great franchise.”
The Flintstones will be a TV series which will begin production in later this year and air for the first time in 2013. Rumours have already been spread that the series could lead to a film spin-off but these are so far

Date Night (2010)
| Carell's Best Film - 4/5 |
The stand out for me in this one was Tina Fey's role as Carell's wife Claire. I never knew she was so funny! Her quirkiness and alternative style to comedy fitted this film so well. We normally see Carell with wife that a man of his personality would never get but here we get a perfect match in which they were both able to bounce off each other and come up with some very funny stuff.
Possibly the funniest moment of the film was a nice double act scene with James Franco and Mila Kunis. Kunis has made a very quick leap to stardom recently having only been involved in blockbuster films since 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' in 2008. Franco has made an almost equally rapid journey to success and in this scene we can clearly see why. The two work so well with each other and even though it was just a fleeting moment of hilarity it was my favourite scene of the film.
This film brought to the table real life emotional events mixed with hilarity and absurdity and left me with a smile on my face. I would recommend this to anyone.
