'Thor' Star Hemsworth Up For 'Snow White And The Huntsman'?

Thor: Chris Hemsworth
After both Viggo Mortensen and Hugh Jackman turned down the part of the huntsman in Snow White And The Huntsman, a character tasked to kill Snow White before he falls for her, the star may have now been found in the form of Thor front man Chris Hemsworth. He seems the ideal candidate after making his major film debut in Thor and is likely to have built quite a fan base by now. Hemsworth could join Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart in the film, which at the moment seems to be losing the battle against similar film The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, which is set to be released first. The possible casting could mark a turning point for the flick which has had little good news surrounding it recently.

The combination of Kristen Stewart and Hemsworth could have the potential to turn around fortunes of the movie and bring in a young audience. The legacy of the classic tale should also surely
bring in viewers, especially those fans of the 1937 Disney classic Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. I expect people to interested in the darker twist to the classic tale that both contending films seem to contain.

How popular do you think these adaptations will be? Which version will win the box office battle?
