Quentin Tarantino |
Rumours have been circulating that the film is a homage to the 1966 spaghetti western Django in which a gunslinger is caught in a feud between the KKK and Mexican bandits. Franco Nero starred in this original
and is also rumoured to make an appearance in the Tarantino version.
The film reportedly deals with racism in a new and unique way. The parallels with Inglorious Basterds are plain to see here, especially as Waltz featured in the 2009 film.
The concept sounds interesting and it certainly will suit Tarantino's style of directing.
