Update On Quentin Tarantino's Next Project

Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino, who has been relatively quiet on the film front recently, has revealed the title for his new film. The movie will be called Django Unchained and allegedly will be a spaghetti western starring Christopher Waltz. A strange photo of the front page of the script was leaked on Twitter and Tarantino's agency later confirmed it to be the truth. As you would expect there has been very few details released so far, but I think the concept of a spaghetti western with Waltz will get people talking already.

Rumours have been circulating that the film is a homage to the 1966 spaghetti western Django in which a gunslinger is caught in a feud between the KKK and Mexican bandits. Franco Nero starred in this original
and is also rumoured to make an appearance in the Tarantino version.

The film reportedly deals with racism in a new and unique way. The parallels with Inglorious Basterds are plain to see here, especially as Waltz featured in the 2009 film.

The concept sounds interesting and it certainly will suit Tarantino's style of directing.
