'Wanted 2' Could Still Go Ahead Without Jolie

Wanted
Despite the fact that Angelina Jolie has already stated that she is unwilling to star in a sequel to the 2008 thriller Wanted, the films producers have revealed that a sequel which will retain James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman could still be viable.

Jim Lemley, one of the films producers, revealed the plans to make a sequel with original director Timur Bekmambetov. He revealed to MTV News that "We still talk sometimes about Wanted 2 - we want to try and continue that story because it's a very interesting one for us,". He added "The reality is we'd love to do it with her, but also that story has such a big idea behind it that it can also go on without her,".

Angelina Jolie expressed how her character should not be returning for a sequel: "In the original, she doesn't kill herself. I actually changed the ending. I said, 'If she was to find out she had killed people unjustly and was a part of something that wasn't fair, then she should take her own life',"

James McAvoy revealed to IGN that he didn't know what was happening. He said "I think the studio is keen to make it, and we really want to make it, but we want to make it if it's right and when it's right, and that might not be ever,"

If it happened, would you go out and watch a Wanted sequel? Does the film deserve another shot or will it fail to impress?
