Elizabeth Taylor dies at 79
One of the biggest icons of 20th century film and cinema has passed away today at the age of 79. Elizabeth Taylor was known as possibly the last major star to come out of the old Hollywood system and was the winner of two Oscar awards in her career, which began at the age of 12. Best known for her roles in 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' and 'Cleopatra', she was an iconic figure who will be sorely missed. She will be remembered as a woman who thought only of others through her charity work and who lit up the screens.
