Will Smith and his son Jaden will team up for the first time since 'The Pursuit Of Happyness' back in 2006. We all remember how emotional and tear jerking that film was and how brilliantly the father and son worked together. Jaden has been busy with films such as 'The Karate Kid' with Jackie Chan but will now be joining his father on screen once again. The as yet untitled sci-fi film will be brought to us by Columbia Pictures and will be directed by M. Night Shyamalan who also directed 'The Happening'.
The plot line sounds like an interesting one. The story will focus on son Jaden who attempts to save himself and his father as they crash their ship onto an abandoned earth set 1000 years into the future. To me it sounds brilliant but I'm not so sure Shyamalan is the best pick after recently watching 'The Happening'. It does sound intriguing none the less and I hope the on screen chemistry between the two will return in this one.
