I must add an update to the last post about Robert Zemeckis' possible new project
Flight about a pilot hailed as a hero for landing a damaged plane who is then discovered for who he really is after an investigation. Denzel Washington is rumoured to be in line for the lead role as the pilot who is found out to be an alcoholic and drug addict. We all know how well Denzel can play alcoholics from his role in
Man On Fire and so it sounds like a role tailored to his talents.
Flight has exploded in the movie news world today and it will be one to watch out for but I must reiterate my hope that the film is not rushed through production in order to make room for Robert Zemeckis' busy schedule.
