Kevin Costner Says No To Django Unchained

Kevin Costner
Quentin Tarantino's new slave western film Django Unchained hasn't failed to excite the movie world so far. One reason for this was the proposed cast that Tarantino was planning on bringing together which included Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L Jackson and Jamie Foxx. However, one of the biggest names reportedly attached to the film, Kevin Costner, has followed the example of Will Smith by dropping out of the project, reports IndieWire.

Kevin Costner was rumoured to be playing Ace Woody, a member of Calvin Candie's (Leonardo DiCaprio) crew. However, Costner will now play no part in the film, giving the reason of 'scheduling conflicts'. Costner is already working on a TV movie entitled The Hatfields & The McCoys for the History Channel and will soon be appearing in Zack Snyder's Superman film Man Of Steel.

The search is now on for Quentin Tarantino to find a new Ace. Rumours have already circulated that

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)

Decent And Solid Film - 4/5
So I saw this film a few months ago called Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and I thought it was about time I went ahead and reviewed it seeing as the final installment of the series will be hitting the big screen soon. I also thought it would be a good way to go back over the film to ensure I am totally ready and up to date for the big finale in July of this year.

Lets start off by pointing out that this film had it all to do. I thought the sixth Harry Potter film (Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince) was a massive let down and the distinct lack of any real action was obvious to see. Coming off the back of a fairly poor film such as this, one that couldn't even hold its own against the first few films, made it an uphill struggle to bring back the excitement and the mystery that any film based on magic should evoke. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 definitely didn't fail to deliver in this regard. The lack of action that frustrated me so much throughout The Half Blood Prince was improved greatly and we saw some magical special effects once again. The sixth film felt as if it was simply released to

Denzel's Film Scares Local Population

'Safe House', Denzel Washington's new crime film set in Cape Town, has proved slightly too real for local residents in the area who feared gang violence had returned overnight after hearing the sounds of automatic gunfire during the night from the film set. Feared locals were calling in to radio station to express their fear. MSN Movies revealed that Dennis Lilie, head of the Cape Film Commission, said the producers had authorisation to film a car chase sequence that involved firing blanks and had informed the residents of what was to happen. He also admitted the sound carried further than expected.

"Safe House' is the story of a team of villains who destroy a CIA safe house in Cape Town. Alongside Dezel will star Ryan Reynolds and the Irish actor Brendan Gleeson. Seeing Washington in a bad-ass role is always a pleasure but I'm not too sure about Reynolds. He doesn't seem right for a crime thriller in Cape Town but recently he has made his way into more serious films (Buried). Unlike Reynolds Brendan Gleeson sounds perfect for the film. The movie is set for release in February 2012.
