The film series that brought us the character of Riddick and subsequently went on to become a successful gaming franchise, began with Pitch Black in 2000 and continued with The Chronicles Of Riddick in 2004, two films I personally didn't particularly enjoy. Well now, seven years later, a third installment to the Riddick franchise may well be on its way.

Vin Diesel, the actor who plays Riddick, revealed on Facebook that he'd met with director David Twohy and that there was no reason why the film couldn't start shooting in the summer.
